Lead Construction Engineer – Civil Structural (Buildings)

About the role

KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is seeking a Lead Construction Engineer with extensive civil‑structural experience in building projects. The role supports the Programme Management Contract (PMC) for Kuwait Oil Company, ensuring design integrity while driving construction execution.

Key responsibilities

• Promote construction involvement in technical design, scheduling, execution planning and cost estimating.
• Maintain awareness of capabilities and workload of construction support providers and contractors.
• Supervise all construction and completions personnel, including engineers.
• Forecast and allocate construction engineering resources; prepare man‑hour estimates.
• Lead cost‑reduction and productivity‑enhancement initiatives.
• Prepare weekly progress and expenditure reports for assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance guidelines and Occupational Health & Safety procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years post‑graduation experience, including at least 8 years in civil‑structural building construction.
• At least 5 years in a lead or senior construction engineering role.
• Proven ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams and resources.
