About the role
Worley is seeking a Lead Contracts Administrator to manage and advise on all contract activities for oil and gas facilities projects. You will oversee the full contract lifecycle, from pre‑award preparation through post‑award administration, ensuring compliance and value creation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare bid invitations, process bidder queries, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts.
- Conduct kick‑off meetings, coordinate contract submittals, manage variation orders, claims, and project close‑out.
- Draft Invitation to Tender packages and propose alternative clauses to client contract conditions.
- Collaborate with legal, risk, tax, and accounting teams to resolve contract issues before management approval.
- Serve on negotiating teams with project management staff to establish contract terms.
- Monitor contract compliance, maintain change‑order documentation, and prepare client correspondence.
- Ensure acceptance documents are completed and signed, and provide business and financial information to clients as required.
- Identify contractual problems, drive resolutions, and manage contract quality standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce, or Law.
- Chartered status (MRICS) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Relevant experience in a similar contract administration role.
- Extensive knowledge of contractual terms, conditions, and commercial contract law.
- Strong understanding of procurement and contract administration processes.
