Local Purchaser – Sabhan Industrial Area (Urgent)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Local Purchaser to manage the procurement of spare parts and components for our plant located in Sabhan Industrial Area. The role involves sourcing from the local market while ensuring cost‑effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase spare parts and components in line with approved cost and quality standards.
• Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive supplier database, including products, prices, and brands.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers to achieve business savings.
• Prepare, process and issue purchase orders according to company policies.
• Support internal departments with quotations for tenders and other purchasing needs.
• Resolve supplier issues related to price, quality, delivery or invoicing.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and pricing data in the system.
• Develop constructive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Valid Kuwaiti driving licence.
• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 8‑10 years of procurement experience with strong knowledge of the local market.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• High level of ethics, integrity and honesty.
