Loss Prevention Officer (Staff Housing)

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety of guests, employees, and property assets within the staff housing area. You will patrol the premises, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS as needed.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and report incidents.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, or run for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb unaided.
• Physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies and move at required speeds.
• Clear, professional communication skills and ability to follow company policies.
• Willingness to maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance.
