Material Control Engineer

About the role

The Material Control Engineer will support the MEW Power Stations & Water Distillation project in Kuwait, focusing on piping material management within the Boiler & Piping division. The role ensures that all material requirements are met efficiently to keep the project on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material requirements plans (MRP) for piping and related components.
• Manage inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points to avoid shortages.
• Coordinate with supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Schedule production and track material flow against the project timeline.
• Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and support capacity planning activities.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Material Management or a related engineering discipline.
• 5‑8 years of experience in material control, preferably on power station or water‑distillation projects.
• Proven experience in piping material management within large‑scale engineering projects.
