Material Control Engineer – Shipyard & Power Projects

About the role

The Material Control Engineer will support HEISCO’s Kuwait power stations and water‑distillation project, overseeing material flow for piping and boiler works. The role is based on‑site and reports to the Project Management Department (Boiler & Piping).

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control material requirements using MRP techniques.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and calculate safety stock levels.
• Analyse reorder points and trigger timely procurement.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
• Develop and manage Bills of Materials for piping packages.
• Support production scheduling and capacity planning for the project.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Material Management or related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in material control for power‑station or water‑distillation projects.
• Proven experience in shipyard or large‑scale industrial environments.
