Material Controller – Shipyard & Power Station Projects

About the role

The Material Controller will support the Boiler & Piping project management department for power station and water‑distillation projects in Kuwait. The role focuses on managing material flow, ensuring the right items are available at the right time to keep construction and commissioning on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
• Prepare demand forecasts and procurement plans for boiler and piping materials.
• Coordinate logistics, transportation and warehouse operations.
• Track orders, monitor delivery performance and resolve discrepancies.
• Support production scheduling and ensure material availability for critical activities.
• Monitor quality, cost and vendor performance throughout the supply chain.

Required profile

• 12th grade education with a Diploma specializing in Material Management.
• 5‑8 years of experience in material control, preferably on power‑station or water‑distillation projects.
• Proven experience in shipyard or large‑scale industrial environments.
