Materials Budgeting Supervisor

About the role

Anton Oilfield Services Group is seeking a Materials Budgeting Supervisor to lead budgeting and cost control activities for its projects in Kuwait. The role will support project planning, procurement and financial performance across the oilfield services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and control project budgets throughout the lifecycle.
• Estimate personnel, equipment, machinery and material costs for planning and decision‑making.
• Monitor cost performance, analyse variances and recommend optimisation measures.
• Review subcontractor quotations, participate in commercial negotiations and manage subcontract costs.
• Assist project managers in preparing procurement plans for materials, spare parts and consumables.
• Maintain a material price database and update market pricing information regularly.
• Produce monthly and quarterly cost analysis reports for management.
• Participate in project cost settlement reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering Management, Cost Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of budgeting and cost‑control experience in oil & gas, energy or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting and project cost‑control methodologies.
• Fluent English with ability to review technical and commercial documents.
• Professional certification in Cost Engineering or related discipline is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with cost estimation and budgeting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
