Mathematics Foundation Program Instructor – Full-Time (Kuwait)

About the role

American International University (AIU) seeks a full‑time Mathematics Foundation Program Instructor for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The position is based in Kuwait and requires relocation without dependents. You will deliver developmental mathematics courses that prepare students for entry into undergraduate programs.

Key responsibilities

• Teach pre‑algebra, algebra, and quantitative reasoning using evidence‑based, scholarly‑informed methods.
• Design and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and ensure readiness for degree programs.
• Maintain consistent records of attendance, grades, and student engagement across coordinated sections.
• Provide targeted academic support, office hours, and early interventions for at‑risk students.
• Utilize Canvas as the primary LMS and Microsoft Teams for communication and instructional continuity.
• Deliver instruction effectively in both in‑person and remote formats and collaborate with course coordinators to align curriculum and assessment.
