Mechanical Engineer (Hydraulic)

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer specialized in hydraulics to lead design review, installation supervision, testing and commissioning of water or wastewater pumping station projects in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Review design drawings, hydraulic calculations, technical specifications and vendor submittals for pumping station systems.
• Supervise mechanical installation of pumps, valves, piping networks, fittings, supports and related equipment.
• Conduct site inspections, perform technical evaluations and coordinate with procurement, electrical and instrumentation teams.
• Develop, review and execute testing and commissioning procedures, including hydrostatic, leak and performance tests.
• Ensure compliance with quality, HSE standards and conduct risk assessments on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a hydraulics focus.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems for water or wastewater pumping stations.
