Mechanical Maintenance Manager - Residential

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Manager to lead residential maintenance operations and support drilling equipment reliability for our client in Kuwait. The role combines strategic planning, execution of maintenance programs, and team leadership to ensure high equipment availability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs for residential facilities and drilling support equipment.
• Develop and optimise maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability.
• Plan, schedule and allocate resources for maintenance activities.
• Control maintenance budgets and monitor contractor performance.
• Monitor equipment performance, drive reliability improvement initiatives and conduct root‑cause failure analysis.
• Ensure critical spare parts availability and optimise inventory.
• Maintain compliance with HSE standards, documentation and certification records.
• Participate in audits and inspections.
• Lead, mentor and develop maintenance teams while fostering cross‑department collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 + years of maintenance experience in drilling, heavy equipment, or oil & gas operations.
• At least 3 years in a maintenance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, reliability engineering and CMMS systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
