Middle & High School Teacher (Math, English, Science, or Social Studies)

About the role

The American Creativity Academy is seeking enthusiastic teachers for Grades 6‑12 in Math, English, Science, or History/Social Studies. This full‑time position offers the chance to work in a multicultural environment and deliver the American curriculum in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, student‑centered instruction aligned with the American curriculum.
• Teach subject‑specific content across Grades 6‑12.
• Create engaging lesson plans that address diverse learning needs.
• Maintain accurate academic records and assess student progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents and participate in conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives.
• Support extracurricular activities and supervise students during school events.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area (English, Mathematics, Science, or History/Social Studies).
• Valid teaching license or certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent preferred).
• 1–2 years of teaching experience preferred, though new graduates are welcome.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching methodology.
• Experience with American, IB, or international curricula is an advantage.
