Paint Tinting Technician and Sales Assistant

About the role

Al-Tuhoo, a long-established Kuwaiti company active in construction materials, tea imports and real estate, is hiring a full-time, on-site Paint Tinting Technician and Sales Assistant in Shuwaikh. The role covers preparing, mixing and colouring building paints to customer specifications, advising customers on products, and supporting sales.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, mix and colour building paints according to customer specifications and project requirements, ensuring accurate colour matching and consistent quality.
• Support customers in choosing paint types, finishes and colours, giving product information and basic technical guidance.
• Operate and maintain tinting equipment, monitor stock levels and organise paint inventories.
• Assist with sales transactions and documentation, and coordinate with the warehouse and sales team to fulfil orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow company safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience in colour mixing, tinting and paint application for building finishes, with strong attention to detail and colour accuracy.
• Knowledge of construction and building materials, especially paints and coatings, and ability to advise customers on product selection and use.
• Basic sales and customer service skills, including handling inquiries, supporting walk-in customers and processing orders.
• Ability to stand for long periods, handle paint containers safely and follow health, safety and environmental guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a paint shop, hardware store or construction materials outlet is an advantage.

Required skills

• Operating, calibrating and maintaining paint tinting machines and related equipment.
• Good communication skills in Arabic and basic English preferred.
• Team collaboration.
