Facilities Supervisor - Interior Fit-Out & Maintenance

About the role

An experienced and detail-oriented Maintenance & Fit-Out Project Supervisor is sought to oversee interior fit-out projects and ongoing facility maintenance operations. The role bridges site execution and project coordination, ensuring finishing works and preventive and corrective maintenance meet high standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day site operations for interior fit-out and finishing works, including drywall, MEP fixtures, painting, flooring, joinery and ceiling installations.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise corrective and preventive maintenance across designated commercial and residential facilities.
• Supervise subcontractors, technicians and specialised trades, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, scope of work and delivery timelines.
• Inspect material quality, installation standards and finish levels regularly to prevent snagging before handover.
• Enforce site health and safety (HSE) standards and local building regulations.
• Prepare daily site progress reports, flag material shortages, track punch lists and snags, and report milestones to the Project Manager.

Required profile

• 3 to 6+ years of supervisory experience on interior fit-out projects and civil/MEP maintenance.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture or a related technical discipline.
• Bilingual English and Arabic (written and spoken) is an advantage for working with clients, consultants and site teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage trade crews under tight deadlines and a hands-on approach to site coordination.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting architectural, MEP and shop drawings.
• Proficiency with basic reporting tools such as MS Office and Excel.
