Part‑Time Hifdh & Islamic Studies Teacher (Kuwait)

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Hifdh and Islamic Studies teachers to join our educational team. The position involves delivering Quran memorisation, Tajweed, and Tafseer lessons to children aged 5‑14, fostering a strong understanding of Islamic beliefs and the Prophet's life.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Tajweed and Makharij with precision to ensure correct Quranic recitation.
• Guide students through memorisation of the last two Juz of the Quran.
• Deliver Tafseer sessions for Juz 30, explaining meanings and contexts.
• Provide instruction on Islamic rituals, beliefs, and the Seerah of the Prophet (ﷺ).
• Prepare lesson plans and assess student progress regularly.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience in Islamic education.
• Alim and/or Hafidh qualification, or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Female candidates are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Tajweed and perfect Makharij.
• Ability to teach Tafseer of Juz 30.
• Sound knowledge of Islamic beliefs, rituals, and the Seerah.
• Computer literacy.
