About the role
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) assists patients and families with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene on the 2nd Floor Rehab. As the team member spending the most time with patients, compassion and strong communication are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and hygiene assistance.
- Monitor patients and ensure care tasks are completed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Required profile
- 12 college credit hours including English Composition with a C or higher and a GPA of 2.0 or greater (transcripts verified).
- Healthcare or service industry experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and demonstrate good organization and communication skills.
Required skills
- CPR certification (provided).
- Skills training, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare (provided).
