Physical Therapist Floater – Outpatient Therapy

About the role

The Physical Therapist Floater provides outpatient therapy services across multiple locations, delivering independent and accountable care to a complex patient population. This day‑shift position works 8 am to 5 pm, totaling 80 hours bi‑weekly, and supports professional and departmental growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy treatments for outpatients of varying ages.
• Float between therapy sites as needed while maintaining high standards of care and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient management.
• Adhere to Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy regulations and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Active Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy license (AR licensure).
• Minimum of one year professional experience or successful completion of facility competency program for Staff Therapist II.
• Current CPR certification.
• Graduated from an accredited physical therapy program.
