About the role
The Planning Engineer will develop production schedules and fabrication plans for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and related components, ensuring alignment with customer delivery commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Review approved drawings, BOM, customer specifications and internal job requirements before release to the shop floor.
- Monitor daily and weekly production progress, identify delays and implement recovery actions.
- Track material availability, subcontract activities and long‑lead items to avoid bottlenecks.
- Maintain job‑wise progress reports for management review.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, production, stores and QA/QC to ensure smooth workflow.
Required profile
- Strong Excel, reporting and communication skills.
- Familiarity with pressure vessel, heat exchanger, radiators and ASME U‑Stamp requirements.
