Primary Teacher – British International School (Salmiya, Kuwait)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a BSO‑accredited British international school in Salmiya, Kuwait, for the academic year beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum to young learners and contribute to a vibrant, globally‑focused learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross‑curricular projects and school initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
• Participate in professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree plus PGCE or QTS qualification.
• Minimum three years of post‑qualification teaching experience.
• Proven experience teaching the English National Curriculum in the UK or a British international school.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Valid police clearance/DBS and two professional references.
