Production Manager – Refrigerated Bodies & Panel Vans

About the role

Al Mulla Industries is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing of refrigerated bodies, cargo bodies, panel vans, and related insulated products. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production processes to meet delivery schedules while ensuring quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control daily production activities for refrigerated bodies, cargo bodies, panel vans, ice‑cream boxes and other products.
• Manage the end‑to‑end manufacturing flow including PU panel assembly, insulation, fitting and finishing.
• Optimize manpower, machine utilization and workflow to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, technical drawings and customer specifications.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Stores and Materials to maintain smooth production flow.
• Identify bottlenecks, implement corrective and preventive actions, and drive Lean initiatives.
• Control production costs, monitor material usage and support continuous cost‑reduction programs.
• Develop and train production team members, and prepare reports, KPIs and management updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 15‑20 years of experience in production operations and manufacturing of refrigerated bodies, insulated panels or similar products.
• Proven leadership and manpower management skills in a shop‑floor environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability under production pressure.

Required skills

• PU sandwich panel fabrication and assembly techniques.
• Lean manufacturing, 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and safety practices.
• Production planning, workflow optimization and resource balancing.
