Program and National Test Center Coordinator – Camp Arifjan

About the role

The Program and National Test Center Coordinator serves as the on‑site University of Maryland Global Campus representative at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. This front‑line staff member provides academic, administrative and testing support, community outreach, and customer‑relations management for current and prospective students.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver superior customer service and advising throughout the academic cycle via in‑person visits, phone, email and videoconferencing.
• Promote and support UMGC services such as hybrid classes, testing services and university‑sponsored events.
• Maintain test center and office standards in line with test agency requirements.
• Document all student interactions in UMGC’s CRM systems and schedule follow‑up activities.
• Maintain positive relationships with Education Services Officers, military partners and other stakeholders.
• Provide briefings to military representatives on UMGC programs of interest.
• Organize and participate in local outreach events including education fairs, open houses, student appreciation days and graduations.
• Track and analyze class enrollments and student data.

Required profile

• Full‑time commitment (100% FTE) with occasional evening/weekend hours and possible travel.
• Ability to work effectively with the Assistant Director, Regional Director, local program coordinators, faculty and military community.
• Strong communication skills across multiple channels.
