Programming Teacher

About the role

A school or institution in Salmiya, Kuwait is looking for a Programming Teacher to deliver engaging instruction in programming languages and software development concepts. The teacher guides students through practical exercises, projects and the theoretical foundations of software development. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lectures on programming languages and software development concepts.
• Teach students C/C++, PHP.NET, Kotlin/Flutter, MySQL and MS SQL, covering both theory and practice.
• Develop a structured curriculum based on industry standards and emerging technologies.
• Guide students through coding exercises, projects and hands-on learning.
• Assess students through assignments, coding challenges and exams.
• Foster problem-solving and analytical thinking, and provide mentorship and career guidance.
• Stay up to date with software engineering advances and take part in academic research, faculty meetings and collaborative projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, with excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to modern programming practices and awareness of software development trends.
