Project Engineer - BMS/ELV

About the role

The Project Engineer will lead the delivery of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Extra‑Low Voltage (ELV) projects in Kuwait, covering CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling and related security and communication solutions. You will manage the full project lifecycle from design review through installation, testing, commissioning and handover while supporting pre‑sales and technical solutioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design reviews, supervise installations and ensure quality for ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control and Structured Cabling.
• Configure, integrate, test, commission and validate BMS and ELV systems.
• Act as primary customer interface for scheduling, engineering support, troubleshooting and fault resolution.
• Coordinate resources, subcontractors and vendors to achieve timely project execution.
• Perform BMS programming and commissioning of MEP equipment (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs) using DDC/unitary controllers.
• Manage third‑party integrations using protocols like Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks, MSTP, IP, KNX and OPC.
• Configure OT/IT networks for ELV systems and develop BMS graphics and server settings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Communication or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in design, installation, testing and commissioning of ELV systems.
• Proven track record delivering BMS and ELV projects in the GCC, preferably Kuwait.
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements and ELV installation standards.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
• Kuwait Society of Engineers accreditation, a valid driving licence and a transferable Article 18 visa.
