Project Engineer – Oil & Gas Division

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to lead and deliver oil & gas projects in Kuwait. The role involves providing technical and engineering support across all project phases, from bid preparation to site coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support throughout project phases.
• Assist in bid preparation, tender submissions and client coordination.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate technical and commercial vendor offers.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, contracting and site coordination to ensure cost‑effective, timely delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties to meet project schedules.
• Develop competitive technical proposals aligned with client requirements.
• Conduct market research to support strategic planning.
• Manage project documentation, including plans, reports and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with upstream oil & gas standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Kuwait driving license preferred.

Required skills

• Ability to interpret and develop BFDs, PFDs and P&IDs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Solid understanding of project management, cost estimation, tendering and bidding.
• Experience in proposal writing, contract evaluation, compliance and negotiation.
