About the role
Amentum is seeking qualified Punjabi linguists to support U.S. military operations in Kuwait. This position is on an as‑needed basis for future assignments, providing language and cultural expertise to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational linguist support during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
- Transcribe, translate, and analyze verbal communications and foreign‑language documents.
- Offer cultural insight on historical, political, sociological, and economic trends.
Required profile
- U.S. citizen with a current passport.
- ILR Level 3 Punjabi and Level 2+ English proficiency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Willingness to work onsite in Kuwait, including shifts and extended hours.
- Familiarity with local culture and customs; able to pass a medical exam.
