About the role
We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist for the Beauty & Cosmetics division. You will own the end‑to‑end procurement process, ensuring the right products are available on time while avoiding overstock and stock‑outs.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage accurate purchase orders with suppliers.
- Track shipments, resolve fulfillment or quality issues promptly.
- Maintain communication between vendors and internal teams.
- Collaborate with warehouse and purchasing teams to optimise stock levels.
- Forecast demand using sales data, seasonal trends and promotional calendars.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits.
- Assist in curating product assortments aligned with market trends.
- Ensure product listings are accurate and up‑to‑date.
- Provide insights for category strategy and consumer demand.
- Coordinate logistics for cost‑effective, timely delivery and customs clearance.
- Monitor vendor KPIs and enforce SLAs and quality standards.
- Analyse competitor offerings and suggest new products.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in Beauty & Cosmetics.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and vendor‑management abilities.
- Customer‑first mindset with excellent organisational skills.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
