QC Sensory Specialist

About the role

The QC Sensory Specialist will lead and manage the company’s sensory evaluation systems to ensure products meet consumer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement a sensory evaluation program for raw materials, semi‑finished and finished products.
• Conduct daily sensory assessments, prepare samples, and document results according to company protocols.
• Maintain reference samples, laboratory records, and ensure access control for documentation.
• Communicate out‑of‑specification results to QA/QC managers and relevant stakeholders.
• Train and qualify a sensory panel, monitor performance, and oversee shelf‑life assessments with product development.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, equipment calibration, and support 5S compliance.
• Participate in investigations, root‑cause analysis, internal audits, and ensure GMP standards are upheld.

Required profile

• University degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a food industry sensory laboratory.
