Regional Installation Specialist – 24-Month Contract

About the role

The Regional Installation Specialist will operate primarily in Kuwait and the wider Middle East, handling the relocation, de‑installation of legacy Serum Work Area systems and the installation of new generation cobas platforms for Roche Diagnostics customers. The role supports the PiPo program by bridging capacity gaps during peak installation periods.

Key responsibilities

• Install, relocate and de‑install analytical laboratory instruments (cobas pro, cobas pure, cobas smart e).
• Perform technical release of analytical systems for laboratory use.
• Prepare customer sites according to instrument specifications and increased demand.
• Analyse and resolve routine technical questions; escalate complex issues.
• Log activities accurately in the CRM system and maintain compliant documentation.
• Monitor service costs, develop local reports and ensure continuous improvement.
• Stay informed on service bulletins, Global Customer Support updates and relevant forums.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering, Precision Mechanics, Electronics, IT, Medical Technology or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related technical field (fresh graduates may also apply).
• Basic knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and diagnostic platforms.

Required skills
