Reservoir Engineer Consultant

About the role

Anton, a global integrated oil and gas value-added management services company headquartered in Dubai, is hiring a Consultant - Reservoir Engineer in Kuwait for its On-sync Energy Management Services Company. The role covers life-of-field development and recovery strategies, secondary recovery programs, enhanced oil recovery (EOR) evaluation, reservoir surveillance and reserves assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop life-of-field development and recovery strategies, including long-term depletion and production/injection planning to sustain production, maximize recovery and extend field life.
• Design and optimize secondary recovery programs such as waterflooding, pressure maintenance, voidage replacement, injection strategy, sweep efficiency, conformance and producer-injector interaction.
• Evaluate and mature EOR opportunities, including WAG, gas/CO2 injection, chemical EOR and thermal recovery, from screening and simulation through development planning.
• Define reservoir surveillance and data-acquisition requirements for pressure, production, injection and other performance parameters, then analyze and integrate surveillance data to monitor reservoir performance and support development decisions.
• Evaluate remaining reservoir potential and recovery factors, and identify and mature additional development opportunities.
• Conduct reserves and resources assessment and maturation by integrating reservoir performance, development plans and production forecasts, providing technical input for reserves estimation, classification and field-development decisions.
