Reservoir Navigation Services / Geosteering Engineer

About the role

Baker Hughes is looking for a Reservoir Navigation Services / Geosteering Engineer to join its team. The role covers running complex, high-risk well placement jobs and building geosteering models, supporting regional and global hub activities, and delivering technical and commercial support.

Key responsibilities

• Run complex, high-risk well placement jobs and build geosteering models
• Support regional and Reservoir Navigation Services Global hub activities, aligning field operations, geoscience and technical subject matter experts
• Contribute feedback on technology performance and operational challenges
• Review pre-job modelling and post-job deliverables for accuracy and compliance with Reservoir Navigation Services guidelines
• Execute other duties assigned by line management
• Deliver high-quality technical presentations, customer meetings and strategic commercial support
• Identify problems and provide solutions to mitigate or eliminate them

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience / earth sciences, or relevant industry experience within the product line
• 5+ years of experience in Reservoir Navigation Services / geosteering
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Good oral and written communication skills

Required skills

• Knowledge of drilling and LWD tools and measurements
• Excellent proficiency and knowledge of real-time log analysis
