About the role

The Roustabout provides essential support on oil and gas rigs, handling lifting, rigging, housekeeping and basic maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist crane and forklift operators with loading, off‑loading and positioning of drilling materials.
• Perform rig moves, prepare drilling mud, mix chemicals and clean mud pits.
• Supply the drill floor with tubulars, tools and equipment, and install thread protectors on drill pipes.
• Maintain lifting equipment, conduct wire inspections and apply proper rigging and slinging practices.
• Keep work areas clean, dispose of waste according to hazardous material policies, and prepare surfaces for painting.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical degree.
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in oil & gas or similar industrial environments.
• Age between 20 and 27 years.
• Elementary English proficiency and basic math skills.
• Strong situational awareness, teamwork and time‑management abilities.
