Safety Supervisor – Construction/Industrial (Kuwait)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Safety Supervisor to lead workplace safety initiatives across our construction and industrial sites in Kuwait. The role involves ensuring full compliance with Kuwait labour law, ministry safety protocols, and internal company standards while fostering a safe working environment for all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety regulations across all sites and departments.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near‑misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise site staff on safe practices and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with HR, Procurement, and Civil/Structural teams to ensure safety compliance in operations.
• Maintain records of safety drills, PPE distribution, and hazard control measures.
• Report safety performance directly to the Project Manager/HR Department.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising construction or industrial safety in Kuwait.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait labour law and ministry safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as First Aid, Fire Safety, NEBOSH or OSHA are an advantage.
