Sales Manager – Automotive Retail Growth

About the role

The Sales Manager will turn market opportunities into sustainable retail growth through sales planning, demand forecasting, dealer development and disciplined performance management. The role works as a business partner to the Country Manager, driving retail targets and supporting dealer networks.

Key responsibilities

• Translate annual objectives into monthly and quarterly plans by dealer and model, track retail, bookings and target gaps, and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain a rolling demand forecast by month, dealer, model and trim, validate inputs against market trends and develop base, upside and downside scenarios.
• Manage dealer execution across leads, test drives, bookings, invoicing and delivery, identifying conversion leakage and implementing coaching plans.
• Conduct structured dealer business reviews, agree improvement plans and verify action effectiveness.
• Track competitor products, pricing and launches, providing evidence‑based recommendations on positioning and model mix.
• Align demand priorities with supply planning, marketing, finance and other functions, preparing decision‑ready SOP inputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 5+ years in automotive sales, sales operations or commercial planning, including 2+ years managing dealer performance.
• Proven results in retail improvement, dealer coaching, demand forecasting and business reviews.
• Professional working English, ability to work across cultures and travel within the market.

• Business Intelligence (BI) tools for dashboards and performance tracking.
