Sales & Tendering Specialist – Oil & Project

About the role

The Sales & Tendering Specialist will drive business growth by managing client relationships and overseeing the tendering process for oil and project sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying new business opportunities.
• Prepare, review, and submit commercial and technical tenders and quotations, monitoring deadlines and requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely tender submissions.
• Follow up on quotations and tenders, negotiate with clients, and support closing of sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, tenders, and customer communications.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business development.
• Conduct market research on pricing, competitor positioning, and upcoming contracts, preparing intelligence reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience with strong exposure to sales and tendering.
• Ability to understand RFQ/RFP specifications, commercial requirements, bid submissions, and tender follow‑ups.
• Good understanding of tendering procedures and commercial proposals.
• Technical understanding sufficient to read specifications and discuss technical matters with clients.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong client development ability and good reporting and organizational skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
