SAP FICO Consultant – Finance Transformation for Aviation

About the role

The SAP S/4HANA Finance, Controlling & Treasury Transformation Consultant will lead end‑to‑end finance transformation programmes for airline operators. Based in Kuwait, the role combines onsite stakeholder engagement with coordination of regional and offshore delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions tailored to airline business models.
• Lead Fit‑to‑Standard / Fit‑Gap workshops covering revenue accounting, ancillary revenue, cost tracking by fleet, route and aircraft type.
• Define TO‑BE finance architecture and act as Finance Solution Architect across Finance, Controlling and Treasury.
• Configure and lead implementation of SAP FI (Universal Journal, GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and SAP CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Actual Costing, Material Ledger).
• Design cost allocation models for aircraft maintenance, flight operations, ground handling and shared services.
• Enable profitability analysis by route, aircraft type and business unit (Passenger, Cargo, Ancillary).
• Support JDE to S/4HANA migrations and global roll‑outs while ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering SAP Finance (FI/CO) implementations in the aviation sector.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, Treasury and Asset Accounting.
• Experience with JDE to S/4HANA migration projects.
• Ability to work onsite in Kuwait and collaborate with hybrid delivery teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
