Senior Accountant (Bilingual) – Immediate Joiner

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Hawally, Kuwait. The role focuses on the preparation and analysis of core financial statements and ensures accurate reconciliation of both payables and receivables. Immediate availability is preferred, and the successful candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support financial planning and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow statements, on a monthly and annual basis.
• Conduct month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable regularly to maintain ledger integrity.
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare necessary journal entries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist in audit preparation by providing required documentation and explanations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional accounting experience.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, and closing procedures.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in financial data.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external auditors.
