Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial reports, and compliance with company policies and local regulations. This position plays a key role in month‑end and year‑end closing, budgeting, and supporting internal and external audits.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger, perform regular account reconciliations and oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Manage cost accounting functions, including COGS calculation, variance analysis and recipe costing.
• Assist in budgeting, track budget vs. actual performance and help prepare the annual budget.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide guidance to team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CA) are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including general ledger management, month‑end closing and financial reporting.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion (preferred).
