Senior Accounting Supervisor – Automotive

About the role

The Senior Accounting Supervisor will lead the accounting function for an automotive business, ensuring accurate month‑end close, reliable financial reporting, and strict compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Close monthly books and prepare financial statements in line with corporate requirements.
• Review trial balances, verify entries, and ensure posting accuracy.
• Supervise bank, AR, AP, and inventory reconciliations.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Implement and improve accounting controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance system capabilities and drive automation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• 4‑5 years of experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, finance processes, and internal controls.
• Proven leadership ability to supervise an accounting team.
