Senior Associate - Audit

About the role

A firm is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Assurance team and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit engagements and review the work of junior team members
• Support engagement managers in delivering high-quality audits
• Act as a key client contact during audit assignments
• Develop audit procedures, review evidence and ensure proper documentation
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior staff
• Ensure timely completion and compliance with audit standards and methodologies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA, CA or ACCA preferred
• At least 3.5 years of audit experience in a reputable firm
• Strong knowledge of audit procedures and financial reporting standards
• Good leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus

Required skills

• Experience with CaseWare is an advantage
