About the role
Khabari International General Trading Company is hiring an Accountant in Kuwait. The position suits someone with 3-5 years of accounting experience and PRO/government relations experience, with a construction or contracting background preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Project cost tracking and processing of payment certificates
- Invoicing, receivables and payables
- Assisting with PRO and government-related documentation and submissions (MOI, PACI, Labour Ministry)
- Supporting month-end closing and audit preparation
Required profile
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in project accounting; construction or contracting background preferred
- PRO/government relations experience (MOI, PACI, Labour Ministry submissions)
- Nationality: Lebanese or Jordanian preferred
- Good English and Arabic communication
Required skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel
- Accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, VAT and tax filing (Kuwait/GCC)
- Preferred: Letter of Credit and bank guarantee knowledge, audit support and financial reporting
