Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Kuwait

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Audit & Assurance professional to join its Kuwait team. You will work with a diverse client portfolio, delivering high‑quality audit services while building trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt audit referral instructions, clearly defining scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, procedures, and findings across audit files.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality assurance.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.
• Understand regulatory impacts, risk management considerations, and industry statistics relevant to each engagement.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in audit or assurance, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of audit standards, risk assessment, and regulatory environments.
• Ability to build trust with clients and communicate complex audit matters clearly.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality, timely work.
