Senior Operations Officer – Kuwait Branch

About the role

The Senior Operations Officer will support the Manager of Operations in delivering efficient, compliant, and customer‑focused services at the Kuwait branch. The role covers operational workflows, security and safety processes, cash management, remittance transactions, and overall branch performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all operational activities in line with local regulations, Doha Bank policies, and approved procedures.
• Manage work schedules, workflow processes, and the handling of new, dormant, or non‑profitable accounts.
• Coordinate with customers to verify documentation, ensure accurate transaction processing, and meet service level agreements.
• Achieve retail product targets while maintaining controls, compliance, and quality standards.
• Prepare daily branch account statements and reconcile transactions against the core banking system.
• Oversee remittance workflow requests, prepare settlement reports, and maintain proper filing.
• Collaborate with software vendors and the IT department to test and optimise remittance systems.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the operational framework meets customer expectations and minimises complaints.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Sales & Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 5‑8 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on branch operations and customer service supervision.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, operational risk mitigation, and best practices.
