Senior Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Service Technician to join Otis in Kuwait. The role involves maintaining and repairing high‑speed elevators and escalators, ensuring reliable service for our customers. You will work on both planned preventive maintenance and urgent call‑backs, following strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning and contractual tasks for assigned units according to the route chart.
• Carry out planned and unplanned adjustments and repairs on Otis and Thyssen high‑speed elevators with minimal supervision.
• Respond to equipment call‑backs, inspect, troubleshoot faults and restore service promptly.
• Identify and report abnormalities, missing components and safety concerns, and highlight upselling opportunities.
• Coordinate with Otis Line Operators to meet Service Level Agreements for call‑backs.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, including timesheets, log cards, JHA, OSA forms and service reports.
• Adhere to client site rules and Otis safety guidelines, escalating conflicts when necessary.
• Mentor junior colleagues during service activities to develop their technical skills.
• Report accidents, near misses, hazards and unsafe conditions to the Team Lead.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the elevator industry, with expertise in modernization and troubleshooting.
• Proven competency in high‑speed elevators, including MC1 controller (LIMEX), AY frequency inverter and CPI 100 R V3 SYNC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for major and minor repairs on elevators and escalators.
• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
