Senior Tool Pusher

About the role

The Senior Tool Pusher is the highest authority on the rig, responsible for operational safety, efficiency, drilling integrity and client relations. The role ensures compliance with environmental and safety standards while leading the drilling, moving and maintenance teams to meet client programs and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise drilling, moving and maintenance activities in line with company procedures.
• Coordinate with the Rig Manager and client representatives to review well programs and daily operation plans (IADC logs).
• Prepare and approve JSA, PTW, Management of Change and Deviation documents in Synergi before work starts.
• Maintain optimal rig supplies, parts, fuel, lubricants and potable water on board.
• Plan, approve and supervise equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance programmes and drilling‑fluid management.
• Oversee rig move planning, execution and safety compliance.
• Lead emergency response teams according to the rig’s Emergency Plan.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in rig operations, preferably as a Tool Pusher.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities under pressure.
• Proven track record of maintaining safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly with crew, client representatives and management.
