Senior Vice President – Financial Planning and Analysis

About the role

The Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis will lead the development of URC's long‑range financial plan, design management reporting tools, and monitor the financial performance of projects and subsidiaries. This executive role reports to the Group CFO and supports the implementation of corporate strategies across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop budgets, benchmarks and long‑range plans for URC Kuwait, regional offices and subsidiaries.
• Review and enforce financial control guidelines to minimize fraud and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide business finance support to the Group CFO, including financial analysis, best‑practice adoption and corporate strategy implementation.
• Analyze complex financial data to assess past performance and forecast future financial probabilities.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor revenues, expenses, capital and operational expenditures against approved budgets.
• Monitor cash flows, predict liquidity trends and liaise with lending institutions and creditors.
• Evaluate investment activities, recommend procedural improvements and support continuous financial control enhancements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for senior management and stakeholders.
• Support the annual financial audit and ensure adherence to corporate finance policies.

Required profile

• CA or Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA, CMA or MBA required.
• 12‑15 years of relevant corporate finance experience in a similarly sized organization.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• Proven track record in financial planning, budgeting and cash‑flow management.
