Senior Womenswear Design Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Womenswear Design Manager to lead the creation of seasonal collections for a leading international fashion retailer based in Kuwait. The role sits within an established creative team and requires relocation to Kuwait. You will combine strong creative vision with commercial insight to deliver collections that resonate with a discerning customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop seasonal womenswear collections across multiple product categories.
• Research global fashion, consumer and lifestyle trends to identify new opportunities.
• Create mood boards, colour palettes, fabric selections and design concepts.
• Collaborate with buying, technical, production and sourcing teams throughout the product development cycle.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers to maintain design integrity and quality standards.
• Attend fit sessions, review samples and oversee collection refinement to final sign‑off.
• Support the development of a differentiated product identity aligned with brand strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Fashion Designer in a premium or high‑volume retail environment.
• Recent experience with an internationally recognised retailer.
• Strong understanding of womenswear product development, fabric sourcing and commercial design.
• Creative eye combined with excellent technical and product development capabilities.
• Ability to balance innovation with commercial awareness and customer insight.
• Confident communicator able to work across international teams and supplier networks.
