Service Specialist I – MPD Equipment

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Service Specialist I to support MPD (Managed Pressure Drilling) equipment on on‑shore and offshore locations in Kuwait. The role involves rigging, planning, testing and operating specialized drilling equipment while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Rig up and down MPD equipment at well sites, both on‑shore and offshore.
• Plan job execution, set up equipment, provide well‑site direction and support customers.
• Maintain, test and operate equipment at customer locations and field camps.
• Mentor and train lower‑level Service Operators and Operator Assistants.
• Monitor instruments, perform data quality calculations and verify equipment against job plans.
• Conduct pre‑job toolbox safety meetings and manage any required changes.

Required profile

• High school diploma minimum.
• At least four years of drilling‑related experience.
• Experience with RCD, rig operations or mud logging.
• Basic proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work a 90 × 30 rotation schedule and travel to Kuwait.
