SOC Analyst – Tier 3 (Managed SOC)

About the role

ZainTECH is seeking a senior SOC Analyst (Tier 3) to lead its Security Operations Center. You will oversee 24x7 monitoring, drive threat detection, and coordinate incident response for managed security services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily SOC operations, ensure continuous 24x7 coverage and shift management.
• Act as primary escalation point for high‑severity incidents and coordinate response across technical teams.
• Mentor, coach and develop SOC analysts; conduct performance reviews and support recruitment.
• Drive continuous improvement of detection capabilities by reviewing and approving use cases, correlation rules, dashboards and procedures.
• Prepare operational reports, participate in customer meetings and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in SOC operations.
• Proven experience leading security operations teams in a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms.
• Strong expertise in threat detection and incident response.
• Security operations management, including use‑case and correlation‑rule development.
• Familiarity with MSSP processes and regulatory compliance.
