About the role
Hireoom is seeking an experienced Sous Chef with a strong focus on French cuisine to join an exclusive hospitality operation in Kuwait City. The role involves supporting the head chef, ensuring consistent food quality, and delivering both French and international dishes in a high‑end hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the executive chef in daily kitchen operations and menu execution.
- Prepare and plate French and international dishes to the highest standards.
- Maintain strict food‑quality, safety, and presentation guidelines.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and efficiency.
- Manage inventory, stock rotation, and kitchen equipment upkeep.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef.
- Demonstrated expertise in French cuisine and familiarity with international culinary styles.
- Strong knowledge of professional kitchen workflows and hygiene standards.
- Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Experience working in a luxury hospitality or hotel setting.
