Store Manager – Hypermarket

About the role

The Store Manager will lead all operations of a hypermarket in Kuwait, driving sales growth, profitability and exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for executing commercial strategies, managing inventory and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute hypermarket operational and commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Drive sales growth, profitability and operational efficiency while maintaining cost control.
• Monitor commercial performance through data analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee inventory management, stock availability, replenishment and shrinkage reduction initiatives.
• Ensure pricing, promotions and merchandising standards are applied according to guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, store presentation, hygiene, safety and security.
• Develop, coach and manage department managers and store teams for performance and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of retail operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within hypermarkets or large‑format retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in driving sales and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, people management and team development abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organizational skills.
